We are so excited to embark on our latest adventure of moving our family to Scottsdale, Arizona. This all came to fruition while we were visiting family in San Diego and the need for James to take on a valuable role for RH20 Engineering was realized. Although it was extremely unexpected and not at all on our radar, James and I embraced the idea of this new adventure. From a wife's perspective, it is incredible to see all of James' dreams come true. After 8 years of following my career, it is time for him to shine and I am so happy for James.
On an emotional note, this move means leaving my family who all live in the bay area, leaving our best friends, and selling our beautiful home in Monterey that I grew up in. It is with a heavy heart and a lot of faith that I am certain we are making the right decision to make this move.
We plan on leaving January 3rd, which is also when the house will go up for sale. I plan on taking the baby-bonding leave that I have not yet taken from my work and move with James in January. Pending the sale of the house, we will finalize my job resignation in Monterey.
So much excitement and yet so much to do. We just have to get through James' final exams this week, suffer through a few more weeks of the night shift at work, and prepare our home to go on the market. We will keep everyone posted on the changes!!
